Paradise West Vacation Rental Cabin in Haines, Alaska

The log cabin at Paradise West Alaska sleeps up to 6.  We offer a large master bedroom with a king size bed, along with two twin and two trundle beds in the loft upstairs.  

The romantic "honeymoon" yurt 

sleeps 2 in a queen bed. 

The cabin is decorated with 

original art by local artists.

We encourage you to leave the computers at home and experience 

immersion in nature here 

at Paradise West. 

However, we do offer Wi-fi and a TV (stream movies from your laptop).

We have a landline phone for local calls. We even have a phone book!  

Enjoy our small library which includes books by local Haines authors.  

We have added a private and romantic yurt on our property, perfect for a couple who wants some privacy and distance from the cabin.  

The view of the famous Rainbow Glacier is awe-inspiring from both the yurt.

The yurt has its own spring water, 

and easy access to the sauna.

Enjoy a Japanese-style sauna, complete with green roof, just off the deck of the house.  Chop some wood and build your own fire in the wood stove. 

Then pour fresh spring water on the 

hot rocks, the traditional way, 

and relax your night away.  

Downtown Haines is a gorgeous 8 mile drive along the waterfront.  

In Haines, find restaurants, groceries, museums, art galleries, thrift stores, outdoor outfitters, bike and kayak rentals, bookstores, a beach, a dispensary and more.  

Visit the Farmer's Market on Saturdays for fresh produce and handmade crafts.
